For this project, we used plastic wheels from a pine wood derby car. These can be found at most hobby supply stores. click patterns to enlarge

Align the four truck body segments and lace together as shown.

Ask Mom or Dad to trim either end off of two toothpicks so that they measure 1 3/8" (36mm)

Push the toothpick axles through the truck followed by the wheels. To secure the wheels in place, we used a single ironed bead pushed over either end of the toothpick.
